Alpha's Birthday

Alpha has had a nice birthday, he's been on two long walks and has been doing lots of swimming! He loves swimming now and jumps in head first. We also made
him a birthday cake (I hope this doesn't make us sound mad) but he
gobbled more than half of it down and would have kept going if we
hadn't taken the rest off him. It had all his favourites: carrots,
chicken, salami, banana, grapes and yogurt in. 

He likes to play with other dogs, now rather than just try and hump them!! His new best friend is a dog called Miko (on the picture), he plays fetch with her everyday and they get on really well.

Cow's ears........silence...........we're busy

Picked up some cow's ears from Pets @ Home........wow, didn't hear a word for a good half an hour.

p.s. this is my first attempt at film editing on the computer.......from tiny seeds, huge trees grow Glasshopper!!!!

Mucky Pups

With all the drought we have been having, and the wrong sized raindrops, the ground around here is sodden.   Give the pups a chance and they will roll and throw themselves in any mud pile and ditch they can find.

This was yesterday morning's efforts to keep clean......nah, no chance.

Bootz has a wonderful game chasing the small birds in the fields, she runs for miles, unfortunately, it is over the muckiest terrain.

Cody and Biz will just chase the ball, whilst Ash will mooch around in her own little dream world.

But we all have fun......until they get in the car......phwoah!!!!!!!

Embarrassed

Busy.....!   Just does not express the amount of things that have been going on since the last entry in October.

I am embarrassed to say that.....yes, it has been almost 6 months....sorry to all followers.

Thought I'd try to catch up on a few things:

Since the last post, Fella has now gone to my Father in Law....lots of tears from Sharon who was very close to him, but, it was the plan all along.   He has settled in brilliantly with the outlaws and is Richard's right hand man.   Sharon travels there on a regular basis and sees Fella quite often.

Cody and Bootz are just excellent...ok, naughty regularly, sometimes very wilful and do not return to the recall as quickly as I would like, but generally, they are good as gold.

Bootz had her first season, went well and was not harassed by either of the boys (to my surprise)

Cody just loves to chase the ball, then teases Bizley.....who is not quite as agile at the moment due to a cruciate ligament operation in January....he has put a little weight on, but that'll come off when he gets a clean bill of health at the vet tomorrow evening.

We are looking to move to the other side of the country in the Summer....house is on the market....just biding out time until the good weather and the prospective buyers come out.

So this is just a quick post just to get back into the swing of things.....will post some photos in the next one.
